  • Expert Forensic Risk Assessments of Children and Families

The Agency undertakes Forensic Risk Assessments on behalf of Local Authorities, individual agencies and Courts [both private and public law].

    • Assessments use the Assessment Framework; Parenting Assessment Manual; psychometric tests such as Parenting Stress Index (P.S.I, S.I.P.A) and Child Abuse Potential Inventory (CAP)  and other standardised questionnaires; multi-sourced evidence from structured interviews and observations.
    • Our assessors’ reports contain comprehensive analysis, underpinned by research, with realistic, achievable recommendations integrated and linked into available resources.

Our assessors have specific expertise in family cases involving:-

    • Risk Assessments of Parents
    • Neglect
    • Complex histories
    • Substance misuse
